Let's hope 2009 will be just as successful as 2008 if not more.

[ooc: Ryuuken sent Ishida money as a Christmas gift--a sizable amount, too. The same to Yuushi.]
Well, this is quite a nice thing to return to after you've been gone for so long. I maybe can't stop the media pestering me and besieging my hospital, but I can stop the phone calls from my sister and her husband.

I am coming to Osaka sometime this week. Yuushi, I want to talk to you one of these days. Whenever you feel up for it.

Still, it was much easier than I expected it to be. He even agreed not to see his friends in exchange for his powers. Not that I believe he's going to actually do so, but he's prepared to go to great lengths for this, perhaps greater than I expected him to.

He still doesn't understand, though, and at this rate, I doubt he ever will.

[/Private]

That doctor conference is next week. I need to remind my secretary to call Kurosaki and Oishi, just to remind them. I am quite certain Oishi knows, but with <strike>that airhead </strike>Kurosaki you never know.

[Private]

Ishida lost his powers and is moping around, is he? He really has no talent. It's deplorable.

I could always lend him a hand, but there's no need for it as of yet. Maybe when the time calls for it. <strike>Though it would be better if I didn't. At least he wouldn't constantly try to get himself killed if he didn't have any powers to begin with.</strike>

Not to mention not having powers is keeping him away from Kurosaki's kid. That's always a good thing.

[/Private]

[ooc] With Oishi, Ryuuken is referring to Oishi's uncle. I'm assuming it's Oishi's uncle on his father's side, because I don't think his surname was ever mentioned, and I'm too lazy to come up with one. ^_^;
